The purpose of this site is to document the cost and environmental impact of all practical sources of primary energy, once fossil fuels run short. This is not a simple task because various studies about the future of energy have reached widely varying conclusions. What we can do in response is investigate why the studies reached different conclusions, report those reasons, and document the data and calculations which make sense to us.
